EMULSION CONCENTRATE, КЭ
Active Substance, Concentration:
MALATHION (525 g/l)
Chemical Class: organic phosphorus compounds
- Reemoves green flies, thrips, leafhoppers, bedbugs, plant-eating ticks. Partially removes caterpillars and horntail larvae.
- Successfully used against acridoid grasshoppers.
- Long period of activity.
- Efficient on pests resistant to pyrethroid insecticides.
Action Mechanism: Malathion inhibits acetylcholinesterase that plays important role in nervous excitement transmission. After poisoning pests have hyperactivity, foot tremor and paralysis. Pests die within first few hours after contact with the pesticide.
Coverage: used as insectoacaricide for fighting different pests (green flies, thrips, leafhoppers, sod webworms, acridoid grasshoppers, grass moths, pea weevils, bugs, silver moths, flax thrips, ticks, weevils, armoured scales, pea moth, etc.)
Rate of Action: initial poisonous effect occurs quickly, pests die within the period from 30 minutes until 2 hours.
Usage Period: Iskra-M® is used for spraying plants during the vegetative period if pests appear. It is used 1-2 times during the season.
Period of Activity: at least 14 days.
Phytotoxicity: it has low phytotoxicity for agricultural plants if used within a recommended norm like other organophosphate insecticides.
Resistance: if the product is used systematically and alternates with other organophosphate insecticides, pest populations with group resistance may appear.
To avoid populations resistant to Iskra-M, it is necessary to alternate it with insecticides of other chemical groups.
Pack Size: four 5 liter cans in a multilayer pasteboard box
